Hello, my name is Aaron and I am currently a high school junior in Los Angeles. I’ve always enjoyed the process of taking different components and piecing them together to build something with a sum greater than its parts. I found working on and building computers have both fed and fueled my curiosity to create. I’ve also enjoyed learning about all the ways computers help me. From doing school work to online gaming, computers play a pivotal role in my life and of those in my generation. However, I also unfortunately understand that not everyone has such vital access to a computer.
From my mother’s work advocating for foster children through the Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles, I see the hardships foster kids experience. So, I want to help kids who are in need of the essential resources and stability that a personal computer can provide. With Kid2Kid Computers, I have combined my eagerness to build with my desire to help. I want to do my part to support children’s organizations in the Los Angeles area by donating computers to kids in need who lack one.
In addition to computers, I also play competitive tournament golf. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and build gaming computers. With what I’ve learned from building my own gaming computer, I’m guiding my little brother, Brandon, in building his first desktop gaming computer.
I’m a kid, and I want to make sure other kids have what they need.
